Meet Sitka—the black Labrador who inspired our name and became the heart behind Sitka Roasting Co.
His goofy personality, curious nature, and love for being part of every adventure remind us why great coffee should never be rushed. Sitka Roasting Co. was founded from a love of exceptional coffee, the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and a desire to create something meaningful. We’re learning the craft of coffee roasting—experimenting with every batch and sharing the journey along the way.

When will coffee be available?
We’re currently perfecting our first roast. Follow our journey on social media and be the first to know when our coffee launches.
Do you offer whole bean or ground coffee?
Our coffee is roasted and packaged as whole beans to help preserve its freshness and flavor. But if you don’t have a grinder, don’t worry— we’ve got you covered!
When ordering online, you’ll be able to choose to have your coffee ground for your preferred brewing method. When you visit us at a farmers’ market or other in-person event, we’ll be happy to grind your coffee for you, too.
Whole bean or ground, we’re here to help you enjoy coffee worth slowing down for.
What grind should I choose?
Not sure? That’s okay! Just tell us how you brew your coffee, and we’ll recommend the right grind for you.
Will you ship coffee?
Yes! Once we launch, we plan to ship freshly roasted coffee to customers throughout Oregon.
Why is the company called Sitka Roasting Co.?
Sitka Roasting Co. was inspired by our black Labrador Sitka. He’s goofy, curious, always ready for an adventure, and somehow manages to make even the simplest moments better. He reminds us that the best things in life are worth slowing down for—and that’s exactly what we hope to bring to every cup.

We’re a small-batch coffee company inspired by slowing down, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing life’s best moments. Every roast is made with care, and every bag carries a little piece of the story that started with a black Labrador named Sitka.
